About Our First Lady – Monica Palmer

First Lady Monica Palmer is a devoted partner in ministry and a pillar of strength at Canaan House of God. Since joining the church alongside her husband, Bishop Oscar J. Palmer, Sr., she has faithfully supported the vision and mission of the church through her varied gifts and dedicated service.

Though she rarely stands in the pulpit, Lady Palmer’s impact is deeply felt behind the scenes. She has nurtured the church’s youth through pedagogical songs and stage plays rich with biblical truths, served as local YPU president, and acted as a voice and liaison for young adults.
Her gift for administration has been instrumental in the church’s growth and stability. As a skilled businesswoman and licensed realtor, she played a key role in acquiring the church’s property at 500 S. Buren Street. Lady Palmer also ensures the church’s affairs are managed professionally, establishing accountability and transparency through trusted partnerships with CPA professionals.
First Lady Palmer’s dedication and care are evident in everything she does. She is a supportive mentor and a positive influence whose impact is felt by many.
Together with Bishop Palmer, they have raised a loving family of four children and have been blessed with grandchildren.

We celebrate First Lady Monica Palmer for her quiet strength, dedication, and unwavering support that empower the church to fulfill its mission.
